Note that by asking for the post to be ‘Retweeted’, three of my Twitter followers actually did so, including me using my 2edinburgh account:

@MrGeorgeClarke how do I find an architect with a passion for converting 60s bungalow for 21st C living? Hints?

I got a reply suggesting trying the RIBA website and searching for architects in our home town or asking friends who’d had work done. As he’d been polite and helpful I thanked him.

@MrGeorgeClarke thanks, George, all good tips. Just travelling through Newcastle as you replied - will check out when I get home 🙂

But why weren’t there any architects out there answering this conversation?

Social Media – you have to learn to listen.  Are there potential clients for your business out there?
